Wow I can't believe it's already February.. even though school started pretty late in January, I think the weeks have been going by preeetty fast. My schedule's so different compared to last year's, when I had ~2-3 tests/quizzes/essays every single week except for the first week & one other week throughout the whole semester (no joke). So as it turns out, I actually enjoy all my classes (thank God !!). I really like my Asian American short story class where we analyze and discuss interesting short stories. I've realized how fun short stories are to read because 1) they're short aka a fast read and 2) they have so much detail packed within those pages aka super engaging.
Haha anyway, so with Wednesdays, Fridays, and the majority of Mondays off, I'm able to have a lot more free time! Which is super nice. And relaxing. And useful. So being granted with a free afternoon and a clear sky, I walked over to College and Ashby to do some exploring.
NO RAIN thhhaaaankkyou
this little food area is so cute - it's like an Asian center amidst its rundown neighboring stores
while walking on College, I saw little kids coming out of their show. I think I read all the Ramona books when I was younger.. it would've been fun to watch their performance haha
it's such a quaint little area. There were some reeeally cute artsy (but overpriced sigh) stores & all these restaurants I want to try before graduating
I wanted to get ice cream before leaving but 1) there were too many people lining up and 2) I realized that I have ice cream at homeLOL
coming back from the afternoon adventure to a warm home, Sandra's spinach dip, ice cream, and superbowl playing on the tv (ehh football) = :)
